The National Laboratory of Frascati’s yearly program, Educational, will start again in January 2017, featuring a wide range of activities designed for Students, Teachers and General Public.
These activities, based on the LNF long experience in spreading scientific culture, prove year after year a valuable occasion for student orientation as well as work-related learning, expected to be carried out in the last three years of High School according to the new National Curricula.
The program for High School students includes guided tours to experimental facilities, interactive lessons, seminars at LNF and at schools, different kinds of internships and stages, in Italian or English, meant to subsidize a fruitful encounter between school and work.
To Primary and Middle Schools the LNF offers Edukids, a project created in order to introduce the little ones to the fascinating world of Modern Physics, exciting their curiosity with captivating, interactive activities, including guided tours, chats with researchers, special activities during bigger events and training courses for their teachers.
Teachers can get involved in our refresher courses as well as special lessons focusing Modern Physics, aimed at spreading knowledge about hot topics and current discoveries, helping new knowledge to spread among their students as well.
Finally, for the General Public, the LNF organizes guided tours, science-afternoons, exhibitions, presentations of book and films. Two special openings to the public – the OpenLabs – take place in May and September.
