In the international competition “Beamline for schools 2017″, organized by CERN, the win goes to Liceo Scientifico Statale “T.C. Onesti” of Fermo.

On the next 17th of May undergraduate students attending a scientific degree course are invited to participate in the event LNF & Undergraduate Students, a new initiative by INFN Frascati National Laboratories (LNF), aiming at orienting them on master thesis.

On the 16th of May 2018 at the INFN Frascati National Laboratories will be held the second day devoted to gender equality in physics, result of a collaboration between the National Institute for Nuclear Physics (INFN) and the National Research Council (CNR).

The Frascati National Laboratories provide undergraduate students with an opportunity to prepare their master degree thesis in Physics, Astronomy, Astrophysics or Mathematics collaborating in one of the Laboratories’ research activity areas.

The 2018 edition of the Visit & Career Day was held on the 16th of April. Once again the Frascati National Laboratories opened their doors to welcome students in their last year of high school, for a whole day dedicated to orientation – in terms of both university and job – with regard to STEM careers – Science, Technology, Engineering …

It started yesterday, on the 5th of April, the “Global Physics Photowalk“, an international competition in which the main laboratories around the world open to both amateur and professional photographers.

The Frascati National Laboratories offer to 5 undergraduate or graduate students the opportunity to carry out research in an experimental group, during the summer. The fellowships concern scientific, technical-applicative and administrative fields. The detailed program and the rules for participation are available at the following link:

“Communicating Europe” Award is in its tenth edition and it is given to personalities belonging to the world of art, press and culture by “Spoleto Art Festival” and IEFO (European Institute for Training and Guidance).

From the 12th to the 16th of February it will start again the INternational School on modern PhYsics and REsearch – INSPYRE, this year with the participation of 38 schools for a total of 89 applicants, 40 from Australia, Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Portugal, Slovakia and UK, as well as 49 students from all over Italy.

It will start on the 30th of January the 2018 edition of Science Afternoons, dissemination seminars periodically organized at Laboratory of Frascati and addressed to students, teachers and general public.
